The two people the Church celebrates today had entirely different vocations and, yet, they shared important similarities. Both St. Bruno, a hermit, mystic, and founder of the contemplative Carthusian Order and Blessed Marie Rose Durocher, a religious sister and teacher, generously responded to the call of God to fulfill a specific need in the Church.
